FAQ's
01
What does a set of plans from you consist of?
You'll receive a floor plan, foundation plan, roof plan, and front / back / right / left elevations for your home. I also provide plot plans if one is required by your HOA.
I'll send you a PDF of the plans, and can also print you (or your contractor) up to four 24"x36" copies of the plans that are included in the price.
02
What do I need to get started?
You'll need a good idea of the layout of the home you're wanting to build, finding inspiration by looking at plans online is a good way to do that! You'll also want to have a good idea of your budget and what size home you're looking to build. If you're building in an HOA, you'll want to have a copy of their requirements so we can make sure your plans comply.
03
How does the drafting process work?
We'll talk about any changes you'd like made to your reference plan, then once the floor plan is drawn and you're happy with how it looks I'll draw the exterior of your home. We'll talk about any last revisions you'd like to make, then finalize the plans! I'll email you a PDF of your plans (typ. 3-6 pages) and make up to four 24"x36" prints included in the price of your plans. More copies can be made at request for small additional cost.
